Hi I received a form I had to fill out about my uc and having my fit notes I think it’s for LCW. I’m just wondering after I have an assessment and if i am entitled to LCW do I get extra money on my UC as I’m not working

To receive extra money you will need to be found to have LCWRA, you will then receive an extra £354.28/month from the 4th month of your claim. If found to have LCW there's no extra money each month. You can see the descriptors here for LCWRA https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/universal-credit-uc/uc-faq/limited-capability-for-work-related-activityThere's guide here to filling out the form. It says ESA but the UC50 form is identical. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/employment-and-support-allowance/help-with-your-esa-claim/fill-in-form-esa/

Hi poppy
is the extra £354.28 per month on top of the £334 you would get as standard?0 -

is the extra £354.28 per month on top of the £334 you would get as standard?Yes but the £334.91 is only for single people aged 25 and over. For under 25's it's £265.31/month. Couples would receive more.As you're claiming New style ESA as well as UC then your ESA is deducted in full, so your total UC amount would be less but both elements are still included in the calculation for your total UC entitlement.0
