Hi, my name is jaderosemary_! How long does it take for the backdated payment to hit your account?

Hi! I recently got awarded PIP after struggling for the last couple years after losing my job. I have fibro 🥺

Does anyone know how long it takes for the backdate payment to hit your account?

Thank you for joining us!

Congratulations on your PIP award. I bet that's a relief?

As you've mentioned losing your job, I was just wondering whether you're also claiming any work related benefits?

@Tori_Scope hey!

Oh it was a massive relief! Just the waiting game for my report now

Not at the minute, I can't work due to the fibro as I really struggle from day to day. I do have the limited capability to work and I know there's a version of it if you do work, if that helps my lovely?

I'm not sure what you mean by that. When claiming UC there's either limited capability for work (LCW) where's there's no extra money. Or there's Limited Capability For work Related Activity (LCWRA) where you receive extra money from the 4th month. You can work regardless of which one you were found to have.
