Hello There. I made a claim for PIP some time ago and today I received a text message saying that they awaited me with PIP. That’s perfect. So happy. But I wanted to ask how far back PIP can be back dated? As the first claim I made was 3 years ago which they refused. Thank you

    It will be from the date you rang to start this claim. It will not be from when you previously claimed 3 years ago.

    Hi guys. 
    So the first time i made the claim was around 3 years ago. They refused it so after hearing so many people telling me that is hard to get PIP for anxiety and depression I didn’t appeal the decision. 
    Only recently I made the claim again end of May and today morning I woke up to the text message saying that they awarded me with PIP, just after yesterday night when I had a really bad time because of my anxiety finally some good news for once .
