What is the process of a Pip Review

My PIP does not run out until May of next year but i have had my review forms through. They have to be back in a weeks time and I have someone filling them in for me.

So, what I am asking is, what is the process of the pip review and how long does it take. So, if they receive my pip form next week, when will they notify me about a pip appointment and when do people think that appointment would be. I have never been through the review process before.

The purpose of the review is to see if you're still entitled to PIP. Most people have assessments and there's huge backlogs so you could be waiting several months and more. As i advised in your other thread we have members that have been waiting a year.

They have been known to send a text when the form is received but not always.

No one can tell you when you'll receive an appointment, if an assessment is needed. Best thing to do once you've returned the form is try to concentrate on something else because it could be a very long wait. Your PIP will continue until a decision is made on the review.
