Hi,
sorry if this is posted in the wrong group m.
sorry if this is posted in the wrong group m.
I applied for PIP a few months ago, yesterday I received a phone call from the a lady that does the assessment.
Lasted 11 minutes asked me a few questions.
I have called today to see what the appointment was for apparently she just called to check a couple of things and it was not my assessment and I need an appointment for that.
Is this how it’s done?
I am just confused as I expected to just have an appointment not a phone call then to be told they is no time limits and I still need my appointment.

Thanks 😊

If the assessor thinks they may be able to do a ‘paper based’ assessment without the need for an appointment they may ring to clarify some points. Having done that they will either wrote a report and return it to DWP or may conclude that a F2F, video or phone assessment will be necessary.1

Thank you, I’ve spoken to the assessor this morning she did a paper one and has sent it off to the DWP she said it was just to confirm a few things with myself.0

That sounds good @mshugz how are you feeling after speaking to the assessor yesterday morning?
