I got no warning just a phone call this morning0
-
It depends what it was for. Did they ask you any questions about your health conditions?
0 -
yes they asked me lots of questions about bathing ,cooking ,walking ,if I had any hobbies ,pets ,medication0
-
Will this be my assessment or will I have to go to face to face ,I sent all my information about my condition from my consultants0
-
If it was a full assessment then you should have received at least 2 weeks notice. If it was just a quick call to ask some questions then this sometimes happens, if after this they have enough evidence to complete the assessment report then they will do this and then return it to DWP.

It was just out of the blue ,but I had sent all my consultant reports in

Do the Dwp check this then it’s all very new to me ,does it take a while .Will I have to have a face to face0
-
After that phone call if they have enough of information they will write the assessment report. This will then be returned to DWP. For there a decision maker will look at everything you sent, as well as the assessment report and then make a decision. Once the decision is made you will be contacted.Timescales for a decision once the report is returned is 2-12 weeks.0

And to allow 8 weeks0
-
Decisions can take up to 12 weeks, sometimes longer, rather than the 8 weeks you were told.

No they have said allow 8 weeks0
-
As a guide allow 8 weeks0
-
Indeed and they also tell everyone allow 8 weeks. As i advised the timescale is more like up to 12 weeks.

Ok Thankyou for your help0

Morning @jaffacake fingers crossed for your out come, it can seem a long, stressful wait, so try not to think about it and worry, keep your mind busy and the time will pass, hopefully you will hear sooner rather then latter.0
