Pip said my review as gone for assessment and to ring them see if they had a further update on how long before it's done. I phoned the assessment people and they havnt recieved it told me they could see it stuck on the pip's system but how theyd not sent it to them . I decided against ringing pip up again so sent them a letter asking why my review was in the system and hadnt been sent to assessment people. I will see now how long it takes for them to progress my review but I feel realy unsure .

As i advised in your previous thread, backlogs for reviews are huge and i'm not surprised that your form hasn't yet been sent to the health assessment providers. Once it's logged onto the system there's no guarantee that it will be sent immediately. In comparision to quite a few other people here then 5 months isn't that long to wait up to now. I totally understand how frustrating it is to have to wait this length of time but there's nothing more you can do while you wait. If an assessment is eventually needed you will be contacted.Try to concentrate on something else in the meantime.0

Those that have only waited a very short
time have very likely had a paper based assessment and these are rare.
The waiting time has nothing to do with whether a claimant is entitled to a higher rate. You need to try to forget about it because it won’t help by constantly thinking about it.0
