Should my SDP be backdated?

Hi I have been on DLA now PIP for over 28 years and just put in a claim for SDP should this be back dated

     Have you ever lived with any adults over the age of 18? 
    What DLA award did you have? Has anyone ever claimed carers allowance or carers element of Universal Credit for looking after you? 
    It’s possible it could be backdated to when you became entitled to it but it would depend on your circumstances going back all those years, which is a very long time!

    no adults and yes carer allowance no cash just entitlement
