I have no idea how you could have applied for PIP and then you were found to have LCWRA because they are 2 completely different benefits.LCWRA is part of Univeral Credit (UC). For this, there's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition. Providing you sent a fit note within 7 days of that and continued to send them without any gaps.I can't advise when it's paid from without the answer to these questions. What date exactly did you report your health condition? What date do you usually receive your UC is month?1

hello, they sent me qoutation pip paper and i filled and sent back to them. im in universal credit. my first report diagnosis was on 14jul 2021that i report in juornal in unversial credit but my firt fit note i sent to them was on Aug 2021,and sent them my fit note countinusly untill last week, i have had assessment with pip by video call, next they they send me letter that put me on LCWRA, and now they mention in my payment in universal credit you will receive 354 pound every month which start on 1of November, but they didnt any mention about my backdated payment, i wanna to know what should i do to recieve my bakdated?
date dignoss: jul 2021
date fitnot report: 1August
recieve universal credit first of every mont, thanks again0 -
Money owed is usually paid separately from your usual monthly amount. It can take a few weeks to pay what they owe you. Taking into consideration the waiting period which for you will be August to November 2021. Your first payment should be December 1st 2021.Before they pay you they will need to recalculate your past statements to work out exactly how much you should have been paid, against what you've already been paid. You will then receive the difference between the two. You will then receive a letter on your journal telling you how much they owe and they will pay it into your bank.1

thanks for answer to me, you mean they will let me know how much owe me? if they do not let me know about this, should i do something to receive my backdated?0
-
Yes you will receive a letter on your journal once your statements have been recalculated but as i advised it often takes a few week for them to do this.As you were only told what the decision was last week then if you don't hear anything in the next couple of weeks then put a message on your journal under the payment section and ask about the money they owe you.1

You are only paid LCWRA from the fourth complete UC monthly period after you report the health condition.
You previously advised us that you are paid on the 1st of the month and that you declared your health condition on 1st August. That is in the July to August period.
The waiting period is August to November. LCWRA appears to be due for November to December which would be paid on 1st January. If correct you are missing one moth of arrears.
You can post a payments query on your UC journal asking them to check the date the arrears are due from. Remind them wh3n you first reported your health condition.

Based on the information you gave previously then the LCWRA element is payable from December 2021. You can request the Mandatory Reconsideration on the decision not to start it from Dec 2021.

Thanks, unusual for me to get the waiting period wrong but looking back the information given was quite confusing.

You can put a message on your journal requesting this and tell them that your calculations tell you that your first payment should be 1st Jan and not Feb.

I submitted my first fit note 26th May.
and my assessment period is 19th to 19th of each month and I receive money in my account on 26th of each month.
and when I asked in journal, they replied that I don’t own any money.
thanks0 -
You reported in May to June.
The waiting period is June to September.
The LCWRA element is payable for September to October payable on 26th October.

It's not paid at all during the waiting period, which is why you're not owed any money.
