Hi all I had my PIP assessment on the 12th September but they had to phone me back on the 16th September for more information and it took DWP until the 26th October to say they had received my report. How much longer will I have to wait to see if I've been successful or not? And has anyone else had to wait that long?

Hi and welcome to the community

Your assessment has probably been in audit which can take time nothing to worry about it is a check on the assessor and quality of their report and not on you

It can take 2 to 12 weeks for a decision to be made

Fingers crossed its just the 2 weeks what with Christmas coming up, I first made contact with DWP regarding PIP on July 6th.

I'm not too bad thank you I rang PIP today and they said they received my report on the 26th October and that I should have my decision within 4 weeks of that date. I also asked for a copy of my report so I will have some idea of what the decision will be hopefully 🤞.

@nickj80 This link should help you see what has been recommended:

Just to add, that 4 weeks may be up to 12.

It sounds really positive that you are not too bad @nickj80. Even more positive that you rang PIP and they said they received your report and you should have your decision soon.

Hopefully, you will receive a copy of your report and have some idea of what the decision will be.

Please don't hesitate to keep us in the loop and if you need any support in the meantime  :)

Thank you, I asked for a report but all they sent me was a letter saying they have received it, and not the actual report itself.
