Decision timescales are 2-12 weeks once the report was returned to DWP. If successfully awarded then payments will be from the date you rang to start your claim. When you receive the report please be aware that it's not the decision, it's a recommendation only.0

Welcome to the community @nettyn0031
I can see that calcotti and poppy123456 have already given you some advice on this.
It can certainly be an anxious wait! Especially as it's difficult to say exactly how long the waiting times will be.
Are you able to do anything in the meantime to help you take your mind off of things?0 -
@Tori_Scope I'm trying to I'm doing what I can with my kids to distract me which works to a certain degree but at the same time as going through this myself I'm also in the midst of getting my youngest tested for adhd autism and something else that I can't remember... I phoned them yesterday as It had been longer than it said to get my repot but the lovely woman explained that because I have to have it on special paper it may take longer but she will ask for another one just incase... she then said they are hoping to get an awnser to me in regards to my claim within the next couple of weeks which if I'm honest I'm not banking on getting or even getting pip as they refused me the last time it's just extreamly hard to not think about with my anxiety being on high alert as it is with everything going off at once 🤣🤣🤣0

It sounds as though you have a lot on your plate @nettyn0031! How's your youngest feeling about being assessed for ADHD and autism?0

@Tori_Scope he's 5 so not really understanding but he's got alot of things in place at school already to help him including a Teddy and regular brain breaks luckly only been suspended once so far for being dangerous... its stressful but luckly I have some experience with children like my son as I have family and friends who are the same.... it doesn't help when I have extreamly bad pain days and things like that but I do my best with my kids even if I'm in pain all day every day they don't miss out.... xxxxxx0

I can only imagine that it mustn't be easy, but it sounds as though you're doing a fantastic job @nettyn0031
I'm glad that the school have already been able to implement some things to help him!
