Hello all
After an 11 month wait my daughter won both higher rate DLA and higher rate mobility, back paid 11 months after the DWP offered nothing and said she wansn't entitled to anything. The hearing was 2 weeks ago and we just received a phone call to confirm bank details and a few other things from the DWP. We asked how long would the payout be from now and they said 3-4 weeks. I would have thought since they called to confirm details it would be sooner, does anyone have any expericnce on this and know if they are paid sooner after the phone call?
Thanks
Dean

The timescale from the date of the decision is up to 8 weeks. I don't think anyone can guess how long it wil take them to pay it. Once payment is made it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank.
