Good afternoon everyone
I'm new to this site and was wondering if anyone as claimed ESA with a full wrist fusion operation, I was told I can not work for at least 3 months after surgery I work part-time but only 7.5 hrs so can not get sick pay .
I go for surgery 1st December any help I can get would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the community
To claim new style esa you need to have paid the required amount of ni in prev 2 tax years
I would think working 7.5 hours would not result in you paying ni so you will not be entitled just like ssp
You could check uc entitlement based on your situation up0
