LCWRA backpay

Hi everyone, I was advised that I have been awarded LCWRA on 27th October. 

My UC assessment days are 6th to 7th of each month with payment on 13th. 

Please could anyone advise if I should receive 1st payment in 13th November? 

I also received a letter stating they owe me some backpay. The letter was dates 3rd Nov 2022. How long does backpay usually take to go into your bank after being made aware that it is owed?

When entitlement to LCWRA element starts depends on when you first reported your health condition supported by Fit Notes. You are entitled from the fourth full UC period after you reported.

Any arrears will be paid separately and can take a while because UC have to calculate the amount due.

Thank you for your reply. 

UC have already sent me the calculations for the backpay and said it will be paid directly into my bank account. 

My first fitnote is dated 16.11.21.

That amount is correct. Based on the information you gave your waiting period will be Dec to March. First payment of LCWRA would be April so they owe you April to Oct, which is 7 months. The letter gives you details of how much you've already received and details of how much you should have received and you're then owed the difference between the two, which is £2458.66.

Once payment is made it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank.

Yes I have no query with the amount… I was just wondering how long it usually takes for them to actually pay it after the calculation as I have heard conflicting stories.
