Pip first payment

Hi, pip rang me Thursday. They said they have changed my original decision and are awarding me pip. I’m waiting for the letter to come this week but haven’t had a text message saying I’ll be awarded pip. Not sure when I’ll have my back payment or when my first payment will be yet. Anyone know when the back payment should be in my account?

Good news. Once payment is made it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank. The letter will follow shortly after.

Oh I see, so the back payment should be in this week coming?0

It will depend when payment was made. You can ring PIP on Monday morning when they open and ask them, they will tell you when to expect the payment. Do you know what you've been awarded? If you're not happy you can proceed with Tribunal.0

Okay, no not as of yet she just said if I wasn’t happy to take it further but I explained it has been too stressful. I haven’t had a text or anything since to say I have been awarded she just told me on the phone0

This sounds really difficult for you at the moment @emily1234. I can hear how it has been too stressful.
Would anything, in particular, help things to feel more manageable for you at the moment? We are all here for you and listening to you

I think I’ve covered everything it’s just been a long time and wasn’t sure what to expect. I didn’t know it could take a mental toll on you until I went through the process. Hoping things will be manageable when I receive this letter and know exactly what’s going on and when
Thankyou everyone for your support0
