Ada said:Sorry. I thought I was just being helpful before folk started to ask again.
Those were the dates on my text from them.
I will say no more. 🤐For all the other payments they haven’t sent texts like this and I didn’t think like Calcotti did and they maybe sending texts with a shorter payment date now, which is a very good thing. In my other comment to you I didn’t want you to start to worry if you didn’t receive within that timeframe.1 -
I got the text for 1st payment a week after I got the money. I never got one for PIP COL but my BF did again nearly a week later. I just think they random texts they send out. Lots of people claiming they got payments with Santander and Mondo tonight, that also didn't get a text message. I wouldn't rely on it other than as admission of being eligible for the payment. My sister got a text last tuesday regarding the 2nd payment. DWP doesn't always have up to date contact numbers either, I change my number constantly, it wouldn't be a guaranteed way of telling people.0

I've had the same mobile number for many years and DWP do have that number. I didn't receive a text for any of the payments. It doesn't bother me at all, i'll receive it when i receive it.
