Sorry if I sound dumb just wondering if anyone knows why the assessor has put at the end of the report “ the claimant has a mental intellectual or congnitive impairment and may need additional support to comply with future Claim processes”
I’m new to all this and I see a lot of people get some good advise and help
from this forum
thank you

Hi @Louiseee38
To my knowledge, that statement means that due to your conditions, you might need additional support from the DWP with future PIP claims. The healthcare professional completing any assessments will decide on the most appropriate approach, be that a paper based review or otherwise.
It's nothing to worry about on your part. Just an indication that the support is there to help you in the future.
I hope that helps
