I’m currently on the council waiting list and will have been on the list 3 years this December
I’m in band C
now I’ve had change to health
first do I report this
im living 4 floors up with no lift
and it restricts me going out
my heart failure is the main reason
im wanting ground floor and in the over 55 years section
will this give me more priority
thanks

Thanks
yes I have a very supportive doctor and heart failure nurse
the housing have sent me a health and welfare form to return
then this goes before the panel for a decision
there is a 3 month backlog I’m told
when I am having a bad day which are many I’m unable to use the stairs so I’m housebound
my discharge from hospital was delayed due to the stairs
I can’t carry shopping up or rubbish bags down to the bin area my life is not my own as it’s limiting what I can achieve
I didn’t no if there was an obligation to place me in band B with health problems
thanks for reply0
