I am 80 years old have copd get frequent chest infections my wife and I live in shelter accommodation she is 79 .she makes my bed and helps me with my socks we moved here to be on the flat. Icant walk far as I get out of breath. Can I claim pip.

As you are over state pension age then you won't be able to claim PIP. You can have a look at claiming Attendance Allowance but this doesn't have the mobility part. If you need help during the day or night you maybe able to claim lower rate.
