Hi all, Melanie here. I have just had my phone-call assessment for ADHD so wish me luck. Already diagnosed with dyslexia, undiagnosed ADHD but diagnosis in the pipeline. At this stage I am not holding my breath though as have read some horror stories online. I am 51 as she the statistics show that only 2% of over 50s are successful.

Hello @mellymoo50
Welcome to the community! Well done for getting through the phone assessment, how are you feeling now? Do you mind me asking which assessment it was for?
I'll be keeping everything crossed for you! 🤞
Just to let you know, I've popped your post in our Autism and Neurodiversity section, in case you had any more questions or queries.0 -
Hi @mellymoo50, well done in getting through the telephone assessment relatively un-scathed? If you do not mind , my partner has been trying to get diagnosed for ADHD for two years now, she was diagnosed with ASD two years ago after a similar length of time in getting assessed as an adult in Wales, she is now 52 years old. Was your ADHD assessment done through the NHS and if so was It NHS England?0
