Remaining politically neutral during General Election 2024

Under guidance from the Electoral Commission and Charity Commission, it's important that Scope remains politically neutral during General Elections.

While we understand that this period will see many passionate discussions and do not want to discourage open discussion, we cannot allow discussions which are purely intended to influence voting.

As ever, please make sure that your comments remain respectful of other people's opinions and keep to our online community house rules.

Leaving work due to ill health

Please could I get some advise on where to start.

    Hi and welcome to the community 

    Are you currently off sick 

    First get referral to oh for work place assessment to see if any reasonable adjustments can be made or their recommendation for future employment 

    Get copy of company long term absence policy and medical dismissal policy and see what options are 

    Don't just resign until exored all options

    Are you in pension scheme there maybe options there depends on age and if eligibile for ill health retirement 

    Medical dismissal can sometimes come with compensation tho it isn't legal requirement

    How long have you been on the sick and if you don't mind me asking whats wrong with you ?
