LCWRA and pregnancy

Hello, I'm wondering if someone could advise me as I'm really stressed out.

Basically a little backstory- I recieved my work assessment forms back in July/August time and found out I was pregnant the week after I sent the forms back. I suffer with a few physical conditions which cause pain daily and limited mobility. I've had these conditions for good couple years now and they have got worse over time.

it's not an ideal situation with my conditions but I've got a good support network at home and also receiving extra medical support. I had my capability assessment a few weeks ago I didn't mention the pregnancy because it hasn't made any difference to my conditions and I'm not 20 weeks yet.

Anyway, I was absolutely relieved when I was awarded the LCWRA but it's dawned on me at somepoint soon I will have to declare to UC and I'm super worried they will take my award off me due to me being pregnant and not mentioning it I just didn't think it was relevant :(. If anyone has any advice I'd be extremely grateful thank you.

Being pregnant isn't a change of circumstances that needs to be reported. Even if it was it wouldn't change your LCWRA at all.
Once the baby is born you'll need to report the birth and you'll receive extra money from the assessment period when the baby is born. (£244.58) unless this is your 3rd child and then you won't receive any extra money. Don't forget to claim child benefit too.

Thank you so much Poppy, that makes me feel alot better. Oh that's brilliant, thank you for being so helpful.

Im wondering how LCWRA works,I rung up for help to explain as letter was vague and they seemed to think I'd be eligible for the element from December and would receive one month's back pay, does this seem right?

I updated a change in medical circumstance in July and have fitnotes from July through to December.
So Im guessing July isnt counted as it dont fall in the assessment period, then :-
    Aug-Sep  1
    Sep-Oct  2
    Oct- Nov 3
    Nov-Dec 4
So December will be month 5
Does what the advisor suggested seem right? Thank you.

Being pregnant makes no difference to your LCWRA.

You've already been found to have LCWRA so there's nothning to report. Being pregnant doesn't doesn't change that decision as we advised.

Once the baby is born you'll need to report the changes and you'll be entitled to the child element from the assessment period in which the baby was born. (unless you're already claiming for 2 children)
