Hey, I have been going through the process of claiming PIP. On Monday I received a text to say I had been awarded pip and to await a decision letter.
I can see from everyone’s posts that I should have a Back payment as I applied 3 months ago, but the only payment I have received is £24. Has this happened to anyone else? Not sure if there is anything I can do without the decision letter but very worrying that I received such a low payment as that should have been backdated?
thanks I’m advance for your help!

For PIP you must have had the conditions for at least 3 months. So although it's paid from the date you rang to start your claim, if you didn't have the conditions for at least this amount of time then it will affect any money that's owed.It could also be that the money they owed may have been used to pay off any debt you may have with DWP.Either way, unfortunately, you will need to ring them tomorrow once they open because we can really only guess what the reason is.0
