I'm 81 and have frequent bouts of diverticulitis. It happens now about every 2- 3 months. Does anyone else experience this?

Hi @divoft. Welcome to Scope's forum. It is great to see you have joined us. How are you at the moment?

Thanks for already finding the courage to reach out to us. I appreciate the courage it takes to reach out, especially when you are new and finding things tough.

I do not experience this. Hopefully, though, people who do experience this will be able to respond to you soon. I can hear that lived experience is something that is really important to you at the moment.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything else we can do to support you. We are all here for you and listening to you.

Take care for now and we will look forward to, hopefully, hearing from you again soon  :)

Hello @divoft and welcome to the community :)

Thanks for reaching out, I know we have other members who also live with diverticulitis, so you might like to have a look at our Rare, Invisible and Undiagnosed conditions category to connect with others going through similar experiences.

Do you feel like you're getting enough support with managing the condition at the moment?
