Hello! My husband had encephalitis, 30 years ago and as a result has an ABI. We'very been on a steep learning curve but still don't have all the answers to living with a hidden condition. :-)

Hi @Kazbear and welcome to the community. It is good to have you with us.
You've arrived at a safe place, here, and are among friends, so please don't be shy of telling us about yourselves or of asking us any questions. The better we get to know each other, the more easily we may find ways to be of use to you.
Unless you've already found it, there is a link to a forum on invisible impairments, which I'll place here: https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/invisible-impairments At the very least it should introduce you to some others with similar experiences.
In the meantime, we're here and listening
Warmest best wishes to you and to your husband,
Richard

Hi @Kazbear
Have you been in touch with Headway? They are a brain injury charity and offer lots of support and information that might help.Scope

HI Sam, we have been managing the sequel of an ABI for 30 years. I have been in touch with and support Headway, The Brain Charity and the encephalitis society. Thanks. X
