Hi I currently receive ESA WRAG group after the HCP gave no points and deemed me fit for work! I was called by a decision maker who disagreed with the HCP report and placed me in the WRAG group for 1 year. I asked for a statement of reasons which I received. On going over this the decision maker accepted that my condition is having a major impact on my life both physically and mentally, finding me capable of work at this time could put me at substantial risk to my mental state and physical well being. I would have thought this would place me in the support group. I was previously in the support group and returned to work voluntarily as I was managing the pain, however, my conditions worsened and I had to stop working. I also asked for a supersession re PIP as I was receiving standard rate for both care and mobility. The rheumatologist report stated I have degenerative conditions which will worsen, and they have. In their wisdom, they took away the mobility component and maintained the care component so once again I am on the appeal trail. Rant over, look forward to sharing other experiences.
