I work for Mencap. I don't have any impairment and want to improve my knowledge so I can advocate and be an ally to the Deaf and disabled communities.

You have come to the right place. Have a look around the forum would be an ideal start. Is there anything you particular would like to look at.? Have a look and there are many members of our community.
Who have many issues, problems and difficulties with their disabilities, illness and conditions. Reading their posts and stories is very informative.
