Hi everyone I currently live in England and I am on PIP and am in the support group ESA and was wondering if I move to Wales, Llwngwril in particular would my benefits move with me? Thankyou x

Hi @Angelpig and a warm welcome to the community.
Do you get SDP with your benefits at all?
There shouldn’t be any change to your ESA and PIP when you move. However, if you’re claiming any help with housing, you’ll need to put in an application for Universal Credit, which will mean your ESA is moved to UC as well.
The reason I ask about SDP is because if you’re in receipt of this, you can’t apply for Universal Credit and your housing costs will be met by your new local authority through Housing Benefit.
