i am left side paralysed due to stroke. i don't have any friends close by and often feel very alone.

Hi @crazygirlcarly - Welcome to this very helpful & supportive community. I'm sorry to read you don't have any nearby friends. Perhaps looking at groups whom you might share an interest with might be helpful. You could ask your GP if they do what's called Social Prescribing to see if there are any options near you. This gives you an idea as to what it's about: https://www.blurtitout.org/2019/10/03/social-prescribing/There's also the Stroke Association which may be helpful: https://www.stroke.org.uk/ which also has local support, clubs & groups.And the Befriending Network might have some suitable groups for you: https://befriending.co.uk which helps people of all ages.I hope some of this may be of use to you.
