Hello @EllaTomas2701 Welcome to the community and its great to have you on board.

That must be a difficult situation you are in can you not go home as if you just go home with your son you wont be socialising with other people

Hi @EllaTomas2701 - Welcome to the community from me too. I'm doing well, thank you for asking, but I'm sorry to read about the predicament you found yourself in. I bet you just want to get back to your own home with your son; it must be more than 'difficult' for you.
Well, this is a very supportive group, so at least we can all listen, & you're most welcome to chat here any time. Kindly let us all know how you're doing, & when you both get back home! :)

Hi Chiarieds, thanks for your lovely kind message, when I brought my son down to visit his Dad just before the lockdown came in we were in temp accommodation due to my previous landlord not paying his mortgage to so the flat went into receivership, which then meant that we had nowhere to live so our local council put us in temp accommodation which my son found extremely difficult as he's autistic as we were just in 1 room together so not only did either of us have any privacy or with him he didn't have his own space he's high functioning but he hates busy places & prefers his own company talking to his friends online. I'll just be relieved when we have a home to go too ?

Oh, that 'difficult' situation is unfortunately even worse @EllaTomas2701 Are you staying where you are until your local council find something more appropriate? How is your son coping where you are? I do hope it's not long until you both have a suitable property that you can make your new home. :)

That must've been incredibly tough @EllaTomas2701 and it doesn't appear to have got any easier since. Please let us know if you think of anything we might be able to help or advise with.
