I am new to the community. I have a daughter aged 5 with sensory difficulties and we're on the pathway to a diagnosis for PDA

Hello @Shazz2230 and welcome to our community. How are you and your daughter today?
I hope the assessment of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) doesn't take too long. Have you had many delays because of the coronavirus?
We have a few discussion groups that might help if you want to hear the stories of others who have been through similar. There is our Parents and Carers group where someone else was navigating the diagnosis pathway earlier this year. While there is also our Autism and Aspergers category where sensory difficulties and coping tips are discussed.
I hope you are well and please give us a shout if you need any help.Online Community Co-ordinator

Hi @Shazz2230 - & welcome to the community. I hope you & your daughter are keeping well, & looking forward to Christmas. You might like to have a look in our virtual 'Coffee lounge' too, where you can 'meet' some of our other lovely members. There's a link to this, & the other discussions & groups at the top of this page.

Welcome to the community @Shazz2230 It's great to have you here.
How have you found the pathway to diagnosis so far? Scope have a service called Navigate for parents and carers in England and Wales who are currently going through the diagnostic process, so you might like to check them out. -
