Scope is planning our next years’ activity and wants to make sure we’re responding to issues that matter to parents and carers of disabled children, and your families. We’d like to hear your thoughts on some of the issues we’re thinking about doing some work on. It would be really helpful to know what’s important to you and your family.
Please take part in our survey
You can also enter into a prize draw as a ‘thank you’ for taking part. Eight lucky winners picked at random will receive £25 e-vouchers.

I've just done this and have a few comments. Firstly it only allows one impairment to be chosen! Many many people have complex interconnections of impairment and for example my son with CP has a physical and a communication disability and they both need to be mentioned! Then whilst the survey asks about children up to 25 you only give "school" related options! You need to ask about college and university too as they have different implications (ie no EHCP for Higher Education irrespective of the level of need) And then you ask if social care support has been reduced during the pandemic, but you don't allow for the fact that whilst the package of support may not actually have been reduced, the ability to access that support may have been affected (it was in our case) And so on. I think it needs to be revisited TBH to give more opportunities for specific comments, multiple choices where relevant and a "not sure" option. Otherwise it is far too simplistic and will not reflect the true situation foe many of us. Thanks.
