I applied for PIP 9th feb. Had phone assessment 31st march. Received a text 12th april to say they had my report and i would recieve a letter with outcome within 8 weeks. A payment of £761.71 was put in my bank acc at midnight. The transaction details on statement is just a long number, nothing about where it came from. Only thing i.can think of is PIP. Have to wait a few hours till everywhere opens, its just bugging the life out of me lol

Hi there
It isn't unusual to get payment before letter as they ars released at the same time and the bank transfer is quicker than post
You gave had a really quick turn around some members applied in Dec and are still waiting for assessment
Fingers crossed its a good result for you -
Thank you. Yeah was quite quick. Was talking to a lady this morning and the letter was posted on fri from England. Thats prob why its
taking so long. Just glad its sorted now, phew? -
Hi @michalalou25 - welcome to the community. It sounds like your PIP claim went well......that's what we like to hear.
