It doesn’t mean anything other than your timescale has been extremely quick.
Once the report was returned a decision can take anything up to 12 weeks, sometimes longer.1 -
Thank you being new to this (not the health issues unfortunately) I’m just not sure what to expect0
-
Hi @Jilly65 welcome to our great group, hope your well at the moment.
I applied for PIP this year, the first time i have ever made a claim, and i will say it is a very stressful procedure, so fingers crossed for you.
When your ready have a look around the site, we have lots going on, a few of us like the coffee lounge, great place for general chats and a few games, i find it a great distraction.0 -
I’ve just been having a quick look around and spotted the coffee lounge I’m sure this will be a big bonus being so isolated at the moment thank you for your kind welcome0

Glad your having a look around @Jilly65, you will soon get to know people, just join in on any of the chats etc.
The site has been a little different because of Christmas but probably be back to normal chats this week.
I look forward to seeing you around, it's the best on line group i have joined, any problems just ask, some one is bound to be on line to help out. Enjoy - i'm of now to watch Death in Paradise on the telly.1 -
Update received text this morning from PIP to say no decision made as yet will write when decision is made don’t know about anybody else and I know that seems to be the norm for some claims but I wish they would just update when they have decided this has made me extremely anxious and stressed out thinking about it all again 😰0
-
The reason they started sending the texts for updates was to stop people ringing to ask if there's any updates. Although it didn't make any difference because people are still anxious anyway whether the texts are sent or not. It's perfectly normal to feel this anxious.

Thank you I think also it’s the first time I’ve done anything like this I’d never heard of PIP until a few months ago it’s more stressful as you just don’t know what to expect but reading other people’s experiences on here does give a little more insight1

I see a few of our users have been on to help
Do you feel a bit calmer about it? I know it's such a stressful process, but we are here

Lou67 it is a massive relief thank you and fingers crossed you don’t have to wait too long for your decision 🤞1
-
I'm pleased for you @Jilly65 hearing about your award must be a big relief
The letter should be on it's way soon! 1 -
When the backdate the money do they pay up until your first official payment date? Or just from the time you called up until award granted.0
-
Payment will be from when you rang to start your claim up until a certain point around when the decision was made or there abouts.0

@Jilly65 Well done Jilly1
