Hi so I received a text from dwp today “we still haven’t made a decision text” 27th dec..I’m presuming it’s a “automated text” because it’s seems like most people get this two weeks after the “received written report text” (mine was two weeks) I was just seeing how long people was getting the “we have awarded text” after the one above. I have just seen on here a lot of people have received the same texts. Thanks in advance.

It's a standard text sent to everyone that gives a mobile number on the form. Timescales once the assessment report is returned is anything up to 12 weeks.

I got the same text yesterday too. Bang on 8am. I hope the decision isn't too much longer. My anxiety is through the roof right now!0 -

@DizzyPotts you will have to keep me updated and vice versa…hopefully it won’t be much longer because my anxiety is the same!0

@emma2880 Yes, I will definitely keep you updated. How have you found the whole process up to now? From my first call to now, it has been super quick for me.0

Hi @DizzyPotts the assessment place received my forms 31st Oct, dwp sent me a text saying they had received my assessment report, (I had a paper based assessment) 12th December. requested my report on 13th December received 15th dec and text on the 27th saying it hasn’t been looked at yet…I also received a letter this morning saying the same, just the anxiety is horrible waiting.0

Hi
I’m in exactly the same situation right now having had both texts like yours on similar dates . I’m getting so anxious waiting …0 -
Thanks for your replies it really helps to know that others feel the same and I’m not going mad !I haven’t requested a copy as yet because I thought it wouldn’t change anything but wish I had now as at least I could have mentally prepared either way .I’m usually a very calm and logical person but I guess this result is potentially life changing for some .Thank you0

@emma2880 I haven't recieved a letter stating the same so I can expect one anytime.
I first called to make my claim on the 1st Nov and recieved my form by the time I'd finished the phone call. Returned 7th Nov. Recieved letter on the 3rd/4th Dec (dated 28th Nov) for phone assessment booked for 12th Dec. Heard nothing else till I recieved the text like yours.
The wait is daunting! I did not request a copy of my assessment report as I could not find the courage to call them.0 -
@Professor How long after receiving these 'no decision' texts did you find out you were awarded?0
-
I got that text message 2 days ago 8:01 morning. Nothing yet after that0
-
Some have a text message with an award a few days after the no decision text. Some wait weeks and others have no text at all.
