PIP Mandatory Reconsideration

I just wondered if anyone on here can offer me some advise please.
I have just applied for PIP for the 1st time but it has been rejected so I have asked for a mandatory reconsideration. I have suffered with anxiety/depression for over 30 years but I am now struggling with work, travelling, socialising etc.
I want to challenge their decision as it seems as I work part time, take low dosage medication or sometimes use holistic methods instead and can communicate I am being discriminated against.

You're not being discriminated against because PIP isn't automatically paid, entitlement totally depends on how your conditions affect you against the 12 PIP activities.
When requesting the MR you should put this in writing stating where and why you think you should have scored those points. If you didn't include a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you then you should do this. Adding detailed information of exactly what happened, where you were, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.
Most MR decisions remain the same and timescales for decision are up to about 12 weeks. You can proceed to Tribunal if you're not happy once the decision is made.
