What will stop or change my LCWRA?

I have received LCWRA for around 2 years now and I also receive standard living and mobility rates of PIP. I have begun to start studying beauty part-time and really hope to build it into a career. I'm very scared of even starting part-time work as I'm concerned my UC will be cut dramatically and then I will most likely fall ill again and not be able to afford my living costs. I really do want to begin part-time work but as the rules around LCWRA are so vague I'm just afraid to even try which is really affecting my mental health.

People do work while claiming UC and LCWRA as there's no maximum amount of hours you can work when claiming UC. You will have the work allowance, which means a certain amount of earnings received each month will be ignored before the 55% deductions apply.

If you claim for help with any rent your work allowance will be £344/month, if you don't it will be £573/month. If you do start working you will need to report a change of circumstances and tell them you're working.

If the work you do contradicts the reasons why you were found to have LCWRA then it can go against you when you're next reviewed.
