Hi all. I applied for PIP in November 2022. Had an online assessment start of December. I rang today to get an update. It was the automatic system asking questions to pass ID. Upon this they asked when was your last pip payment. I replied - I don’t know. This is as I haven’t received anything or a letter.
However it went on to say your next payment is due on the 3rd February 2023. I’m confused! Does this mean I’ve been awarded? Or is it a system failure? Any advice would be gratefully received

I've never heard of an online assessment. Do you mean you filled in the PIP2 form online? That's not the assessment, this would be the "how your disability affects you form," The assessment is when an assessor asks you questions about how your conditions affect you.The automated payment line shouldn't be relied on because it often gives incorrect information. Most people have assessments, which can be by either telephone, video call or face to face at an assessment centre.Once a decision is made you'll be contacted.0

Hi Poppy
i meant I had an assessment online with an assessor via video call. Apologies for the confusion.I’ll wait and see if a letter arrives first before calling them again. I thought it was strange giving me a date for payment to go in before receiving the letter?0 -
That's exceptionally quick to have had an assessment already if you only applied in November.

I’ve just received the letter! I’ve been awarded both components, one at a higher rate and the other lower rate. Thankyou all0
