Hiya I've been reading this forum for a few days as I'm awaiting a pip decision and was hoping for advice , I received the "we have not made a decision yet " text , and going by the threads on here , it seemed this text is followed by a pip award text 2 days later , I received this text last Thursday 05/01/23, but nothing more , I rang pip today and they said they have a 3 week deadline for assessments to decisions , and this is up today , has anyone had similar problems ?? Or got that text the same day , and maybe been awarded??

Please remember that when you ring PIP you're speaking to someone from a call centre. I've never heard of DWP having a 3 week deadline. The timescales once the assessment report is returned is anything up to about 12 weeks. Some members here have indeed had a decision within a couple of days of that text but some members have waited a few weeks. It doesn't mean anything other than what the tex suggests. It's impossible to predict anything at this stage. Once a decision is made you'll be contacted.1

The text stating that I had been awarded PIP arrived 11 days after the “we have not made a decision text”.
I am aware that the time scales are different for everyone.
It’s not easy waiting.
Good luck
also the award text arrived around 8am2
