Hi I am on uc lcwra, and have changed doctors, I used my online journal to try report the change via message and the person who replied to my message said I had to do it from my account, their was no option too , so I called the helpline and was told I can't change it on the system unless I have a new fit note, I have seen articles saying change of doctor must be reported and am really worried  from not been able to, I have severe anxiety and panicking this could affect my claim, thankyou for any advice

Changing your doctor/GP is not a change of circumstances that needs reporting. In the future when you have a review for the WCA and you receive more forms then you can put the details on that form.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi @phoebe123 and a warm welcome to our online community, thank you for joining us.

Just to reassure you some more, this UC: Report a change of circumstance webpage shows that changing GP's is not listed as needing reporting.

I hope that calms your worry a little. Are you getting support with your anxiety? I hope so, but please let us know if it's an issue that you could do with some help around.

Take care and have a great rest of the day.

Really glad to hear we were able to support you with reducing your anxiety and worry @phoebe123. Thank you for your positive feedback.

It is really positive to hear that CBT sessions and medication are helping you to manage your anxiety too. Completely hear how this is heightened by DWP/UC issues though.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything else we can do to support you  :)
