Good morning everyone hope you are all well . I have received text and email today to say my case closed as pip changed decision in my favour. I have spoken to them and was getting standard daily and standard mobility.  I been fighting this long time. I was having home care come in for 6 week's short term help undress dress me wash me wash my hair as can't use left arm due to problem with left shoulder. Not received award letter yet but I been told I have been awarded enhanced mobility and enhanced daily living. This backdated to may 2022. Thought would be glfurther than this but it's an awesome result. Award goes from may 2022 to 19 October 2025. I want to thank everyone who has supported me on here. Means the world. My family pushed me to keep fighting and I'm thrilled I did so. So many people are fighting pip still for what should be entitled to . Keep fighting and I hope everyone who does gets what they should . Thanks again enjoy rest of day. I will my grandson birthday he is 2 today xxxxx

If you think the award is too short, once you have the decision, you can start a new appeal (without doing an MR) to challenge just the length of the award. Whether or not this is appropriate depends on your health conditions but if they are long term and would normally be expected to get worse rather than better then a longer award would be justifiable,
