Good morning how is everyone today. I have a question and I would like your advice. Everyone in here has always been very helpful it means the world to me. I recently posted my pip tribunal case was closed due to my pip decision being changed in my favour this was brilliant news. I've not received pip award letter it's been over a week I will phone them this morning find out day was sent to me. My history with pip since first claimed in march 2021. Standard daily living no mobility. I appealed still got daily living no mobility went to tribunal July 2022. Daily stayed standard was given standard mobility gave me 10 points could not go on unfamiliar journey without another person . I have not left my house without my husband or another family member can't go anywhere on my own. Last time I went out on my own was to work 22nd July 2021. backdated to march 2021 start of pip claim..
Problem with left shoulder started march 2022 needed more help as affected me more e ach day.i. I had a pip assessment via video link not that the assessor listened to anything I said. Daily living still standard mobility still standard 10 points but they changed it to couldn't leave house as caudmsed me physcoligucal distress. I could leave house long as was accompanied by another person. I struggled when was out too many people tok overwhelming. I put in a mandatory reconcideration this came back still daily living standard even though I had told them my husband had been helping me undress dress wash bathe due to my left shoulder. Mobility came back standard. I had said I couldn't go on a familiar journey without another person I said should have got enhanced mobility. As stated I last left home on my own 22 Nd July 2021. I know this is long winded and I I've been writing a book as it seems . Pip backdated daily living enhanced to may 2022 and also mobility enhanced may 2022. I thought mobility should have been July 2022 this was what I'd been fighting for to get the right outcome. Do you think when award notice comes should I appeal the mobility side of award should I have got it from July 2022. I would be very grateful for all advice thank you.

Your timeline is difficult to follow, despite reading it a few times. Can you please confirm was this award either a first time claim or did you either report a change of circumstances or was it a review? The reason i ask is because in a previous thread you mentioned standard mobility which you got at Tribunal. Thread here. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/97611/hi-my-name-is-toffee2022-im-stressed-with-the-outcome-of-my-pip-assessment/p1

Hi fistr pip claim march 2021 disagreed with decision appealed still disagreed decision after this went tribunal July 2022 . Standard mobility awarded backdated to start of first claim march 2021. Told them problem with shoulder this march 2022 also stated could not leave house without another person. Decision came back standard daily standard mobility . Disagreed appealed still stayed same. Took it to tribunal was waiting on a hearing date they cancelled case and changed discision . Enhanced daily enhanced mobility from 4 may l2022. So should i leave it as it is.0

As you reported changes in March 2022 then this is when it should be paid from and not May 2022. Providing you had the worsening of condition for at least 3 months. However in your previous comment you said July 2022, I’m assuming that’s a typo.Toffee2022 said:should I have got it from July 2022. I would be very grateful for all advice thank you.0

It won’t be from July 2021 if changes were reported in March 2022.0
