I just found out my ESA has stopped.
My son is autistic and his mum was having difficulties with him and he wanted to move in with me. This is the only change I can think of, family allowance was passed to me £80 a month but now I am being told my income related ESA is stopped. Is this normal? What can I do? I am loosing it and have difficulties talking on the phone and there is no way to email ESA. I am still getting 40.60 per week as I am in the support group, I just don't understand this and can't live on this.

If you're still receiving £40.60/week then your ESA hasn't stopped, it's been reduced. Your dependant son moving in with you will not be a reason for it to be reduced. When you say family allowance, do you mean child benefit? That doesn't affect any ESA claim.I can only guess what the reason is and only ESA can tell you this. Do you have someone that can ring on your behalf? You will need to go through security and then you can pass the phone onto them. Unfortunately, there's no email address for you to contact them.0
