Hi
I need to send a Mandatory Reconsideration letter to UC about LCW/LCWRA.
The address on the decision letter is
FREEPOST DWP
Can anyone confirm that this is still the correct address?
Thanks

I would send it to the FREEPOST ADDRESS, they should still sign for it, if it's sent Recorded Post.
Last thing you want to do is to have it delayed by sending it to the wrong address.

It's pointless sending anything to DWP signed for or next day delivery because all mail going to DWP goes to a Royal mail sorting office first and is signed for by someone from RM, not someone from DWP. It's not classed as arriving until it's been added to the computer and it can take up to a couple of weeks for this to happen.Proof of posting is all you need, which is free from any post office.0

Thanks for the advice.
Does anyone know how long the mandatory reconsiderations are taking for universal credit claims at the moment?
Thanks0 -
Up to 12 weeks, sometimes longer.1
