CP and Travel Insurance

Hi

I have CP and am looking for travel insurance for a holiday later this year. I've looked at a couple of travel insurance companies including Virgin and went through their health information criteria for the quote which ended up say I don't need to declare a health condition. My question: is CP classed as a health condition for travel insurance purposes/quotes? Also, any recommendations for a trusted holiday insurance company?  Many thanks.

Hi,

I can`t recommend any insurance company, but what I will say is, and regardless of what the website says, always delcare any health issues.  These insurance companies will use any excuse not to pay out.

Hello @121Stargazer and thanks for your query, speaking from my own experience I hope I can help.

When I last travelled abroad, I did declare my CP when getting travel insurance. Something I found useful was using a comparison website after a quick google, that way you can decide more easily which type of insurance will be best for you.

Where are you off to on holiday?
