I'm not sure @dieselsmum, as far as I can make out from the website, there is free travel on Metrolink for members of the armed forces and a Travel Pass or Travel Vouchers for disabled people, so it might be worth having a read of these to see if you are eligible.0

If you have a Diamond Travel card issued in England outside Greater Manchester I think this doesn’t work for Manchester trams. Can’t find a clear answer but I’m basing it on information that says over 60s with a pass issued by Greater Manchester can pay to have free use of trams added. This suggests that trams are not automatically included within the England Concessionary Travel Scheme.0

If its the yellow/orange concessionary C+ Disabled person travel card and has Transport for greater manchester at the top. then you can use these on the trams, trains and buses anywhere in manchester. Just swipe in on the small card machines before your journey and then swipe out again when you reach your destination.I'm from manchester and use my disabled bus pass on the trams sometimes.0
