Hi there. After some advice…. I am a carer for my mum and I receive Carers. Would I be eligible for a Blue Light Card? I have looked at their site but the drop down and nothing fits to apply, so assuming not. Although, when Ive searched online some people say Yes!

    Hi there welcome to the community unfortunately you wouldn't be eligible for a blue light card as it's only for frontline staff. These are the only people why qualify.

    Not sure where you seen that but it's not correct. Claiming carers allowance doesn't entitle you to the blue light card.

    I`m glad I read this thread; I wasn`t aware that the Blue Light Card scheme was available to Armed Forces veterans :)
