Child DLA message

Hi was just wondering if anyone else has received this text message from dwp about child DLA:

We are still looking at your DLA1 Child claim. When a decision is made we will confirm it in writing. There is no need to contact us about it.

It will be about 10 weeks since I sent the form and they received it now, does this message mean it is with the DM
now? Thanks for any help.

It's impossible to say whether a DM is looking at it right now, it maybe in a pile waiting to be looked at. Once a decision is made you will be contacted.

Okay thankyou. I know it will probably be about another 2-3 weeks before I hear anything it’s just the anxiety of waiting. Thanks for your help.

I can hear you are feeling anxious about the wait at the moment @lawraahh30. Would anything help you to feel less anxious at the moment?

I actually received the same text today and was hoping to find an answer as to what it means, did you receive your decision shortly after?

I actually received the same text today and was hoping to find an answer as to what it means,

It means exactly what it says. There's backlogs for DLA decisons and it's currently taking up to about 16 weeks.

I received the same text message last week after already waiting since December! Have you heard any more or had a decision since receiving that txt? Wondering how long I should be waiting to expect and outcome after getting that message.

I also sent my form off in December xx
