Won't give me my assessment report

I applied for pip back start October so 5 months now had my phone assessment last week phoned today for the assessment report to be sent out the lady on the phone was really rude and said I wasn't allowed the report and won't be given it till the dision has been made I've seen others ask for the report and been given it why would I not be allowed mine

I had my phone assessment two weeks ago and I phoned yesterday too and they’re sending it to me.0

The woman on phone was very blunt and rude and was adiment that I was not allowed the report and it won't be sent out she just said she would put a note on the claim that when desion is made that I won't the report I don't understand why I carmt have it and feeling very on edge why I can't0

Altho it can take time to get through, I'd suggest ringing again. Most likely a different person will answer & agree to sending out the assessor's report for you.However, sometimes it's better to just wait for your decision letter as the assessor's report is just a recommendation.1

If the report has been returned to DWP they will send it to you before the decision is made if you ask. However, there are some people from the call centre who will refuse to send it. You can ring back to speak to someone else who may agree to send it.Please also remember that the report is just a recommendation, it's not the decision. It can also cause even more anxiety than you may already be experiencing so it's not always a good idea to request it.1
