Decisions can take up to about 12 weeks once the assessment report was returned to DWP. The text you received was a standard text and means exactly what it says. Once a decision is made your husband will be contacted.

Yes, some have had a decision quite quickly after that text you were sent but some haven't. It doesn't mean anything other than what the text said.

Unfortunately I did the same as you did thinking because others got it soon and I didn't.  I got myself in a frenzy to than get the text a few weeks later I was awarded. So I know it's easy to say especially coming from me (as I was so anxious) to please don't worry about it taking a bit longer. Fingers crossed you will hear soon

I rang pip up once I had my decision award through and they told me what and when I would get paid. Deffo worth a phone call also said how much and when back payment was and when it would be paid.

    Hi @libbybow

I've made a separate thread for your query regards your husband's PIP claim to make it easier to read and get back to :)

I was so glad to hear he had a positive outcome, please keep us updated with any other news. I also hope your husband is managing his mental health conditions ok, has he got much support from your GP or a specialist team? I hope so!

Take care and have a great Thursday.
